The Octolindo F Scholar is an impressive octave mandolin from luthier Kilin Reece and company. Crafted of all solid Engelmann Spruce and Mahogany. It has a Cumberland Acoustics bridge, Nugget tailpiece, and other premium features.
Chose this mahogany model over the deluxe and Artist models because the tone was so warm and rich. This mandolin has not been played that much since it was purchased last January. It just received some nut work and had the action raised to fix a slight buzz on the G course.
