So what we've got here is a vintage 14" Ludwig Pioneer snare in Duco finish.
It's got the original strainer and the baseball bat internal muffler.
The serial number makes it a 1965, as does the October 6, 1965 stamp still visible inside on Ludwig's exclusive (white)
"Reza Cote" finish.
This amazing drum has clearly been well-loved but sounds like glorious yet oh so sensitive thunder.
