Overview
The Precision Bass’ long history dates back to 1951, and the Fender American Standard Precision Bass has become the flagship of Fender’s P-Bass line and a staple in popular music. The newer models sport the classic Precision Bass body with some upgrades, like a more modernized neck with a C-shaped profile and a Fender Custom Shop ‘60s split single-coil pickup.
