Fantastic guitar with a great sound and wide timbre pallet. I played this guitar during my undergrad and master’s degrees, as well as for most of my doctorate. In concerts, it has been described as having as much volume as a double-top but with more color. This guitar is incredibly easy to play (the neck shape is one of the best I have ever tried) and I will miss it dearly, however, I’ve found that I haven’t played it much in years and want to give it a new home.

I bought it for $8,000 in 2008 and it’s been recently appraised for 14,500 (including the case). Selling for $9,000 or best offer

As with any guitar, it has needed a few repairs over the years:

• In 2011 it got a few cracks on the back from low humidity. These were repaired by expert luthier David Pace and have not had issues since.

• In 2012 the headstock cracked from an accident. This was repaired by expert luthier David Pace and has not had issues since.

• In 2015, the guitar was refretted by Joshia herself and a small soundport was added.

• There are some scratches on the front and back of the body from 10 years of playing but nothing that affects the sound or playability or is visible unless you’re close to the instrument.
