The body is made of Paulownia…which is light weight and resonant. the guitar hits the scales fully loaded up at 5lbs 1oz..

The aging of the Black nitro lacquer is subtle and works perfectly with the light relic of the Spitfire tortoise shell pickguard

neck is sublime.
It starts with a Curly maple neck shaft that has pronounced bold curly that is alive with movement. In your hand the true joy comes.. the width at the nut is 1.6875 with a thickness of.90 at the first fret that runs down through the 12th. The shape is the classic karge 1/2,round. In the fender World it would be considered a C shape. With the shoulders of the fretboard rolled and the burnished worn finish on the back of neck.. it plays fast and easy.
the fret wire is StewMac #148c ( similar specs to 6105) the tuners are aged Gotoh Sd 91’s which are split shaft and are nice and tight.

The Spitfire pickguard is loaded up with a set of Klein Epic ‘59’s with the 2 and 4 pos RWRP. Also loaded up is a Emerson 5 way 250 k pot wire harness with treble bleed

The hard tail bridge is made buy Callaham with vintage string spacing.
