I don't think you landed on this listing by accident. In fact, to paraphrase the words of Anton Chigurh, if you made decisions in your life that led you here, you better damn well be prepared to face some heinous consequences.
This device is the diabolical Metasonix R-56 tube reverb. It is a spring attached to ill-tempered vacuum tubes and some sockets to connect things in and out. Anything that comes in, however innocent and pure as the driven snow it may be, leaves in a massively altered and thoroughly beastly, disheveled and outrageous state. Corrupted, evil, but yet strangely musical. Various knobs are visible in the attached pictures, which regulate various parameters such as how much reverb vs signal, how much howling feedback and distortion, how much awesomeness, etc.
These are rare and Eric Barbour is not making any more of them. Most people who own them will never part with theirs. Come git some!
