This is a very rare custom made guitar by the famous Japanese luthier Sakazo Nakade. It doesn’t have a model number because it was built for a Mr. Ueda according to the label inside and was a custom order. I would estimate it is from the 1960’s but it’s not dated. I have had enough Nakade guitars in the shop to say I am very confident in this date range.
The guitar sounds outstanding and plays great. The top is solid spruce and the back and sides appear to be Brazilian Rosewood but I am not positive. I am not offering this guitar for export just in case. Has a Spanish foot.
There are some minor dings and scratches consistent with age and a professionally repaired top crack. The tuners are mismatched but all work well. The frets have just been polished and the guitar was given a clean bill of health by a professional luthier.
Inside label says " built it in 1968 for Ueda Eiji"
