My parents gave me this guitar for Xmas in 1967. They bought it at L. Oppleman Pawn, still in business on Main St. in Lynchburg, VA. After playing in bands until 1971, I sold it to a man who ran a body shop and for some reason he decided to repaint it but not well. About 1979, my former drummer and friend showed up with it and gave it back to me.

The serial number was obscured by paint so I removed it enough to see it. The serial number is 70087 which shows up on Gibson lists as 1964. The tuners were replaced about 1970 and the headstock has been cracked and repaired. Pickup and electronics are all original--guitar plays fine. Epiphone case and strap locks and strap included.

Send me your questions and I will try to answer them or provide additional photos.
