This set of two official Fender Ultra String Trees maintain the correct string break angle across the nut and are a sleek redesign of the bent sheet metal 'butterfly' trees that have been around for almost as long as the Stratocaster itself. This new style has a smoother surface than the vintage design to ensure the least amount of friction so the strings return to pitch more accurately during bending and tremolo use. They're made of a hard alloy called EZAC to keep the strings from digging into the string tree to further improve tuning stability. The string trees are used on American Ultra, Elite, Professional, Acoustasonic and various Custom Shop models and will fit most vintage and modern Stratocaster and Telecaster guitars.
