For sale is a 1988 MIJ Fender Stratocaster. red finish / rosewood over maple neck. New hardshell case included.
in good condition for it’s age, this guitar comes stock, only with the addition of a 3ply mint green pickguard + Fender brand cream pickup covers/knobs to match. the naturally aged white pickup covers, toggle switch, and knobs will also be included in this sale, so it can quickly return to 100% stock if you wish. Natural relic look vs a factory simulated aging.
Review photos carefully and feel free to ask questions before purchase. This is a 33 year old, vintage instrument, and by no means perfect. The body shows typical signs of wear, the hardware still is in nice, non rusted and functioning condition. the neck though not 100% perfect feels nice in the hand, and has minimal fretboard ware with plenty of fret life remaining. Finish and neck has regular dings and scratches as expected, but presents nicely. Will loosen current strings for shipping, but strings will need replaced and guitar needs a setup. This is an “As-Is” sale. Happy to provide more photos and specs upon request.
