Led by master artisan Tom Murphy, Gibson Custom Shop's Murphy Lab creates a one-of-a-kind instrument by tastefully aging each guitar's finish and hardware. This 1959 ES-335 Reissue features Ultra-Light aging, with gentle and pleasing lacquer checking but minimal play wear. It creates an aura of an immaculate vintage guitar that never left its case.

Fitted with Custom Shop Alnico III Custom Bucker pickups, these unpotted pickups will treat you to warmth and chime. The '59 ES-335 benefits from a precision Plek Pro setup, which enhances the fingerboard and nut for accurate intonation and perfect playability. A Medium "C" neck profile modeled from Golden-era Gibson originals, period-correct appointments, and a 17-degree headstock angle combine to make this instrument the finest example of a semi-hollowbody that Gibson has ever crafted.
