(USED) From Huss & Dalton, this is what we would call an EXCEPTIONAL fingerstyle guitar for those who want a big, lush voice. The MJ is H&D's interpretation of the tight-waisted but big-bottomed J-185, with a 16" lower bout and 4.5" depth at the tail block, it just...sounds... HUGE! Cedar tops are coveted by fingerstyle guitarists for its rich voice and ultra-quick response, and that's exactly what is happening with this guitar. Indian rosewood back and sides means lots of overtones and sustain, and the iBeam passive pickup system means it's ready for the stage. Even with light gauge strings, the sound of this MJ-C just fills the room.
The condition is EX, with very light fret wear under the unwound strings and a few faint marks on the back (nothing through the finish.) No cracks, dings or structural issues of any kind. 1 3/4" nut with 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle, 25.4" scale length. Koa body and neck binding with rope top purfling and rosette. Gotoh 510 tuners (so smooth!). Cutaway for access to the highest part of the fingerboard, and a John Pearse arm rest installed for hours of comfortable playing. Includes original tweed TKL hardshell case.
