B&K Model 747 Tube Tester with Documentation
This tube tester is from the late 1960's and will test octal, loctal, 7 pin, 9 pin, compactron and many other tubes. This is a great, easy to use tester for testing tubes for your vintage audio equipment. It will test 5AR4, 5U4, 6L6, 6V6, 6SN7, 6SL7, 6BQ5, 6CA4, 6CA7, EL34, 6DJ8, 12AT7, 12AU7, 12AX7, 6922, and KT-88 along with many other audio and radio tubes.
This will not test old radio tubes from the 1920's and 1930's.
The tester works great. I checked it out with the following tubes: 6V6, 12AU7, !2AX7, 6DJ8 and 5U4GB which had all been tested on my calibrated TV-7/B and got comparable readings. Includes the documentation - the instruction manual and the tube tester settings and the adaptor wire for tubes with a plate cap. Calibration instructions are in the manual if you feel the need. I don't think it needs to be calibrated.
