Since they were discontinued in 2013, the Echotones have become rather scarce. This is one of only TWO Echotone prototypes made, and has been sitting in the warehouse, in its box, since 2015! JAM Industries (current owner of the Hamer brand) had this guitar built as a factory prototype sample, as they were considered re-launching the Echotone again in 2015 but decided against it.
Since this instrument is a prototype, it has NO INTERIOR LABEL but it DOES have a serial number!
This guitar is NEW, NEVER SOLD, FRESH FROM THE FACTORY, and is a great instrument!
This guitar features a bound, lightly-figured maple, a beautiful bound rosewood fretboard with dot inlays, Hamer humbucking pickups, stop tailpiece, Nashville-style tune-o-matic bridge, cherry red transparent finish, Kluson-style tuning machines, and Abalone Hamer logo on the Headstock.
No case is included with this guitar BUT we can add a Guardian Hardshell case for an additional $75.
