I have a beautiful Fender Stratocaster neck stamped January of 68’ as far as I can ascertain. There is a photo of the dating system I used to determine it’s origin. Kluson tuners appear to be original as they started using the F Stamped tuning machines sometime in mid 1968. Finish is Polyester and it is showing its age. The neck was purchased at an estate sale attached to a Silvertone 1448 guitar body that had been set up for slide, I feared extra holes in the neck but he had bored new holes in the Silvertone Body and original holes look to be in good shape. Since it remained in the slide setup for so many years the frets show very little wear. They can easily be recrowned if you desire. There is minimal wear down by the cowboy chords. Neck is straight and there is tension in the truss rod. String tree and nut are not available Please ask any and all questions, Happy to entertain partial or full trades.
