Up for sale is a 1984 Westone Thunder I bass in black color with its original Westone hard case.
100% original bass, down to the last screw. Very good to excellent condition. It's in the same family as a Fender Precision Bass, in terms of sound, with master volume and master tone.
This Thunder I plays really well: neck is straight and we adjusted the intonation/action. Hardy any fret wear and the truss rod works both ways. Comes with new D'Addario medium gauge 50-105 strings.
The only cosmetic flaws are very light scratches on some parts of the body, that are difficult to photograph and some hardware tarnish. Nothing abnormal for a 40 year old instrument. Also, one of the Westone tuner back cover is missing, but it does not affect the tuning peg which is full working order.
Made in Japan instrument from the early 80's, that says it all for the built quality.
