Here we have a somewhat rare Hammond F-100 Extravoice tube organ. These are "secret" weapons of the vintage keyboard cognoscenti. They are descended from the elusive Novachord and are actually much more like a tube synthesizer than an organ. They have zero in common with the tonewheel Hammond models other than their general organ like aesthetic and produce totally unique sounds that can be mellow and haunting or brash and quirky. They also incorporate the circuitry from a Solovox monophonic tube synthesizer, with more tonal options and greater stability than the Solovox models typically have. The most obvious sonic example i can think of for this organ is the Fiona Apple track "Fast As You Can", particularly in the outro. This item is in good condition with typical "grandma's living room" dirt and wear. It is in excellent operational condition and the tuning is good. It is too big to ship so I am only offering local pickup in Los Angeles CA (North Hollywood area) or I can arrange delivery via a cartage company in the LA area for a fee.
