Back in the Late 1970s to early 1980s, Tokai made some best Fender and Gibson replicas. Tokai really good at 'Vintage' correct specs for JB or PB. People know how good Tokai LP guitar is but few have idea on how great their basses are. Early 80s Tokai JB or PB are most under rated basses.
Up for sale is Tokai JB120 in very good condition. Few scratches and dents, finish chips but nothing affects playability and tone. Neck is straight and in great shape, trussrod works both way, frets till have plenty of life. All nitro lacquer finish! It has an mazing brazilian rosewood fingerboard that could only found on boutique basses nowadays.
All stock except pots and cap. If you can't afford a original 1964 Fender jazz bass i highly recommend this one. You got everything, warmth, punch, clarity, etc.
