D’Angelico Original 2 Point A Style Mandolin Body Template 1950s Wood

This template was bought from the estate of James D’Aquisto in 1996.

The original 2 point mandolin template used to create some of the most iconic mandolins of all time.

This was the template John D’Angelico used to shape and build them. It has a heavy patina and not like a lot of other things that came from Jimmy’s shop in the very humid long island some mold staining. I haven’t cleaned it because of its history.
