About This Listing

Here is a super cool vintage amp and the first one we’ve had in the shop. First off the batting in the hole is not a nest it was probably a glued sheet of sound dampening they used at some point and its worn out it’s just missing from the other side. With all the comments on it being a nest it might just be time to rip it out. These were made by Magnatone in the ‘40s and ‘50s and sold as a set with a Bronson Melody King lapsteel which were actually made by Rickenbacker. The cord has been replaced with one that has been grounded and two of the knobs have been replaced . However, tonally this thing sounds great with its recent service. Don’t miss out on this one it’s a cool sounding amp!
