Plate reverb pedal based on the era-defining EMT units of the '60s and '70s which were made of a sheet of metal vibrating with a soundwave hitting it. They sounded particularly great with electric guitar due to the minimal early reflections as well as the warm quality of the full-bodied reverb which naturally tapers off. Because plate reverb was born in the studio, the Talisman includes studio style sidechain effects that are routinely paired with plates : a Pre Delay control which delays the reverb by about 100ms and a High-Pass control which rolls off the low frequencies of the reverb. Both of these controls allow you to tune the reverb, in order to keep it from interfering with the dry signal.
