About This Listing

48hr sale! The Decomposer is on sale for 15% off for the next 48 hours :)

PLEASE NOTE:

Because of how screwy Reverb's site is set up it shows the original, non-sale price of the Decomposer as $215 but this is actually a older sale price from a couple years ago, the actually, non-sale price of the Decomposer is $230 but I would have to create a new listing from scratch to fix this issue (guess I should do that....).

The Decomposer is a unique fuzz machine capable of taking you from a variety of super-saturated fuzztones, to fuzz with clean overtones, to electro-horn sound, to envelope-controlled amplitude modulation, to structureless static and crumble!

The ALTER switch array is inspired by the front panel interface of the Altair/Imsai computers. These switches plug and pull various components in and out of the circuit, essentially allowing you to program the analog brain of the pedal. There are 32 possible ALTER switch combinations!

Many of the settings are very sensitive to the dynamics of your playing, allowing you to go from clean to destroyed just by altering your pick attack.

Chord destroyer, sonic-take-a-parter, beyond-fuzz creator…Complex and ecstatically damaged sounding!

UPDATE: I've been selling more and more Decomposers to bass players. There are settings that give you a heavily distorted layer along with a clean fundamental layer, an effect bass players often use to allow them to enjoy the beauty of fuzz without losing the all important low end and definition.
