This vintage design acoustic guitar is inspired by the 1929 Martin 00-18 model. It is constructed from high grade solid woods, the top being Canadian cedar and the back and sides being Indian rosewood. The 12 fret to the body neck is mahogany with an ebony fingerboard and true to the original 1929 instrument has a 47mm width at the nut with a slotted head and volute to the rear head/neck joint. Other features include a period correct ebony pyramid bridge with ebony bridge pins and bone string saddle, the string nut is also bone and the tuning machines are vintage waverley style with a 16:1 gear ratio for precise tuning. The strings are Martin MEC12 phosphor bronze wound 12-54 gauge. A hard case is included.
