Seymour Duncan worked with Gus G. to specially voice this Blackouts Modular Preamp and the accompanying pickups to transform your guitar into a flamethrower.

This matched set of two traditionally constructed humbuckers and a battery-powered Blackouts dual preamp was created for Gus G., who wanted the power of active pickups without sacrificing the hair-trigger response of his favorite Seymour Duncan passive pickups. "This system combines the massive tone, kick, and distortion of Blackouts with the rich tone and expressive feel of my favorite passive pickups," says Gus. "It responds perfectly to all my picking techniques, and more of my personality comes through than with any active pickup Ive tried." Includes two humbuckers and a high-output, low-noise Blackouts dual preamp that replaces one of your volume pots. Uses a bare-wire lockdown system so that no soldering is required when replacing active pickups. Includes three 25K potentiometers for players migrating from a passive setup, plus all necessary hardware.
