Vintage Harmony Lap Steel guitar Hawaiian Electric with a Gibson P90 pickup
from the late 1940s or early 1950s
Has been modded, and I think maybe repainted at some point?  It could be the original paint though.  It just looks maybe too clean to be original to me?  Either way, it looks great.  If it was repainted, it wasn't a hack job.  The bridge is an upgrade and the pickup has been changed to a Gibson P90 at some point.  The tuners were either replaced or new buttons were added to the original tuners.  In either case, the tuners are a bit of work to turn once you get the guitar close to pitch, but they work.  It is currently strung up with a regular set of guitar strings for open D tuning.  So, if you are planning to do C6 Hawaiian/Country tuning, you'll want to order a set of C6 strings.  The guitar sounds fantastic and is a great player.  Needs nothing.  Works great just like it is.
