The look and feel
This Japan-made guitar catches the eye with its radical modern headless look. It has a very nice figured two-piece swamp ash body finished in clear satin to enhance the guitar's acoustic goodness. The neck is one piece hard maple ergonomically bolted-onto the body. The ebony fretboard has stunning dead black color. The fan pattern frets were aligned according to the guitar's multiscale configuration of 25.5 - 26.7 inches, giving perfectly accurate intonation unobtainable with traditional guitars. The fanned-fret pattern also allows for an ease of ergonomic fingering. The famous Jescar Evo Gold frets are harder than regular nickel while yielding nice acoustic properties - nearly as durable as stainless steel with familiar feel of nickel per say.
How it sounds
Plugging through an amp, the guitar has a great clean tone with surprisingly EQ balance; it doesn't sound mid-scoop like most ash-body guitars do from my experience. But the guitar really shines with distortion; loads of output with tons of clarity no matter chugging with high gain or doing high speed lead lines, this guitar handles it all. The coil split function can be activated/de-activated by only pushing on Tone knob which is obviously more comfortable than traditional push/pull type. The coil split sounds a bit nasal - kind of djenty style which is cool for this kind of modern guitar.
Condition
The guitar is in excellent condition and has been living in smoke-free home and has never been gigged. Comes with Saito high quality padded gig bag as well as all tools supplied by the factory. This Saito model has been discontinued and doesn't seem to be seen often in the market so don't miss your chance!
Thanks for looking!
