No paperwork but was used by Jim Johnston who recorded WWF/ WWE tracks
Very early (1st month besides prototypes) maple cap, transition logo, lollipop tuner telecaster bass. No model number on neck heel, .1 uf green capacitor, original case and modern replacement case. Early (probably first year) wd custom replacement pickguard, replaced bridge cover; 4 saddle bridge currently on but original (2 saddle) in the case. Original pickup, no break in solder but treble pickup screw has chipped the pickup base-plate.
Gorgeous visible wood grain on a one-piece swamp ash body, flamed maple neck (pictures don’t do it any justice), unbelievably well preserved glossy fingerboard, and nearly new lollipop tuners with small scuff probably from a string winder.
Original case included (spring on left latch is shot), as well as G&G fender replacement for shipping/ use. And stewmac tele jack installation kit with tools and hardware to repair output jack housing if ever necessary.
1/14/2025 update: tug bar may not be the correct year looks more red/brown like you see in the 70’s
