This solid body beast is a Peavey Odyssey, handcrafted in the USA in 1991. This was Peavey's attempt at making a top line LP-style guitar to join the ranks of PRS and Gibson. The guitar is amazing - I suspect noone bought it because it was a Peavey. It's quite astonishing, really - it's in amazing condition for a 30+ year old instrument, very minor cosmetic scratches on the back (couldn't get it on camera), tiny chip on the top back headstock (pictured), and slight pressure on the binding has some minor cracks under the fretboard (pictured). The gold hardware is fading, but it looks great. The neck is thin and fast - reminds me a bit like a modern Gretsch feels - and has easy upper access to the 24th fret.

Carved mahogany body, with a flame maple top, transparent natural black finish, gold hardware, ebony fretboard, and 15" fingerboard radius. Kinman PAF+ Humbucker & Kinman PAF Astound Humbucker Pickups, with Coil Switch.

I'll courier it with a fitted Ashton case, and a fancy guitar strap, anywhere in Australia, with Pack'n'Send.
