This allows very fine adjustment of the speed. Fine Bias Adjustment Turning the knob CCW reduces the record bias resulting in a brighter sound. Turning the knob clockwise increases the bias, reducing distortion and high frequencies. HEXALAM PERMALLOY 3 HEAD FULL MONITORING CONFIGURATION The hard anti-wear surface, plus the laminated Hexalam low eddy current core, give high unsaturated recording levels coupled with low loss, long life performance.
