Vintage Prototype Floyd Rose Locking Bridge. This design is the prototype to todays modern Floyd and was manufactured in very few numbers for a very short time. I believe it is copper, covered with chrome. In the pursuit of the perfect locking tremolo, Floyd Rose changed his process and materials on many times during the first few months in the early 1980s. This was the first run of this prototype design and did not have the fine tuning mechanisms. Many of these prototypes went directly to artists and can bee seen in photos of the guitars they played during the years 1982-1983. This is in pristine condition and I also have many types of locking nuts to fit most necks that I will throw in, once I get the specs of your guitar. I introduced Floyd to Eddie Van Halen so he could show Eddie his tremolo system. I later became the production manager for Floyd Rose and used many of his bridges on my Boogie Bodies and my new guitars. I have acquired a collection of Floyd Rose parts and bridges over the years and am letting this little gem go, with free shipping too. Lynn Ellsworth
