New for 2022 the Boffin FX Blades Overdrive.
The Blades is powered by a JFET OpAmp providing excellent audio performance. The Blades boasts two overdrive and tone channels to provide extra versatility.
The Drive channels are an asymmetrical 1N418 diodes channel and a MOSFET drive channel with 1N4148 diodes. The asymmetrical diodes channel gives an edgy distorted sound familiar with overdrive pedals. The MOSFET channel gives a cleaner and clearer sound.
The Tone channels are a selection between 0.047 uF Mylar Film Capacitor and 0.220 uF Bipolar Electrolytic Capacitor. The smoothness of the Mylar capacitor is paired with the tone boost of the electrolytic capacitor.
Knob Controls:
Level - Adjust the volume output level.
Tone - Adjust the tone.
Drive - Adjust the level of overdrive.
Bite - Adjust the overdrive voicing from smooth overdrive to more aggressive distortion.
Switch Controls
Tone (Left)- Select the tone stage from the standard tone or tone boost that provides brighter tone.
O.D. (Right)- Select the overdrive type from standard clipping or MOSFET drive stage.
Foot Controls:
On/Off - Turn on effect or use true-bypass to turn off effect..
