2000 Gibson Les Paul Classic – Vintage Sunburst – Original Gibson CaseBeautiful 2000 Gibson Les Paul Classic in Vintage Sunburst. Serial number 003826.This is one of the earlier Gibson USA Les Paul Classics, featuring the fast, comfortable 1960-style slim neck profile and classic Les Paul mahogany/maple construction.The guitar is in excellent condition for its age and has been well cared for. The mahogany back and neck are particularly clean, with only normal light signs of use. There is no known headstock or neck repair. Please see the detailed photographs for condition.The guitar retains its vintage-style Gibson/Kluson tuners, uncovered black humbuckers, cream pickguard and plastics, amber control knobs and traditional Les Paul hardware. The control cavity and electronics are pictured in the listing. To the best of my knowledge, the electronics and pickups are original. I have not removed the pickups simply for purposes of verifying them.The Les Paul Classics of this period are known for their hotter ceramic pickup combination and slim ’60s-style neck, giving them a powerful, articulate sound that works especially well for classic rock, blues and higher-gain playing.Original Gibson hardshell case is included.The guitar plays and functions as it should. It is being sold as a used 26-year-old instrument, so please examine all photographs carefully for normal cosmetic wear.A very clean example of a desirable early-2000s Gibson Les Paul Classic that has remained remarkably well preserved.Please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests for additional photographs.
