Awesome 1990's "Phrase Sampler"

Has gained quite a reputation over the last few years, for some reason I ended up with 3 of them, but this was before the hype, don't really need 3...

I have a bunch of this era samplers & this one is almost perfect, if it had a better MIDI spec & / or sequencer it would have been a stone cold classic, also the form factor is goofy as hell, ZOOM were making all kinds of strange wedge shaped boxes at the time - I'm sure they thought they were doing something cool, but, it makes it look like a toy...

However

pitch your sample up (like way up, 2 octaves up) then pitch it down by -36 inside the 224: This Is Not A Toy

you can map a single sound across multiple pads, give them all different levels, pans, tuning. Non destructive reverse, start and end points - its the chop shop king IMO

The FX are ill AF, ZOOM made a bunch of classic FX racks & all that knowledge went into this

I figure most heads already know about this box
