Beautiful vintage Hofner model 171 Thinline. The guitar is a product of the famous German manufacturer of guitar Hofner. Model 171 was produced in the early 1970s and represents their version of the telecaster thinline model. Hofner is probably best known for the violin bass he played (and even today he often plays), Sir Paul McCartney of The Beatles. The authentic sound of '70 can also be heard from this guitar, although it is quite close to the classic telecaster sound.
The guitar is all original except the finish of the body (the body is refinished in a dark brown with a slightly brighter transition to the middle (best seen in Figure 2), screws on the pickguard and neckplate (replaced exclusively for esthetic reasons) and the potentiometer cap (although I have the original ones I can attach). As far as I know, the guitar was originally in the natural style, but this finish is much better, especially in combination with a natural aged pickguard.
