Here we have a rare and original vintage Fender Japan Telecaster Custom ‘72 guitar with a solid body and a classic sunburst finish with hints of Sonic Blue nitro throughout (see photos). The original classic three tone sunburst finish is de-glossed to a satin sheen, with some natural relic patina and hints of sonic blue that looks very cool.

This fully original guitar has 100% original parts including single coil ‘72 reissue 6.04k bridge pickup, original ‘72 reissue 13.08k Wide Range humbucker with Fender logo chrome cover, 3-ply black pickguard, notched 3 saddle bridge, and Fender Pat Pen bridge plate. All body cavities have been fully shielded to reduce hum.

1-piece maple neck with 7.25” vintage radius, 21 vintage frets (.07” / 1.8mm thick), Gotoh tuners, 1.65” / 42.1mm bone nut, .85”/.93” medium C profile, and a gloss headstock with original Fender logo and serial number intact. This neck has had the back deglossed for fast playing and comfort, and the frets have been polished and dressed. The neck has various scratches but it is purely cosmetic and the neck feels amazing.

This entire guitar is very light for a Telecaster Custom at only 6.9 lb! (some weigh 10+ lb). Fresh 10/46 Daddario XL lights are currently set up with medium low action.

**The Fender ashtray bridge cover is also included**
