I just got these Esteve crossover guitars. I ordered several as there are not many quality crossover guitars available and these are custom ordered and I am quite happy with the results.
This Algeria model is a really powerful guitar and is a super value at it's price point. The Algeria is lattice braced which gives it a quick attack and excellent definition. But the Algeria also has a really nice tone and is not at all harsh or thin sounding as some lattice guitars can be.
It has all solid Indian rosewood back and sides and a cedar top. The scale is 650 and the nut width is 51 mm.
This guitar is one of the best offerings I have seen in the 2k range and compares well with many 3-5k instruments. Comes in a deluxe polyfoam case.
Esteve guitars are made in Valencia,Spain and is owned by Manuel Adalid who also makes high end guitars under his own label. He brings this level of skill to his factory guitars and makes sure they meet his high standards at all price points.
