Yamaha CR-640 Natural Sound Stereo Receiver

This is a good looking and amazing sounding class receiver! I tested this one outdoors because I kept wanting to turn the volume louder. Out of all the stereos I've sold, this one is near the top in sound quality, build quality, features, and sheer volume. 
It has all the features you would expect, like bass, loudness, and treble, but honestly, if you leave those in "neutral" your sound will be thrilling. The point of the Natural Sound was to enhance overall sound quality to make it more life-like. So I put on a Rush live album and it sounded like the band was jamming right there. It's a very clean sound.

She is a beast though, weighing almost 30 lbs and will take up a fair chunk of rack space. But I'd say it's worth it. 

It's a little worn on the edges, but overall condition is very good. Crisp green lights and the tuning dial takes up almost the entire top - I really dig that look. 

Shipping is a bit more than my usual, due to the size and weight. If we could get this inflation under control, shipping rates will get back to normal!

Item is sold As-Is. It's from 1980, a bit younger than me - and I have a few battle scares also, but it adds character. Unit works awesome and sounds worth triple the money.
