This is simply pretty.I bought this from Gruhn guitars back in the mid 2000's. To be clear, this guitar is in stunning shape - Phil Jones is a legend. I have included the all Gruhn commentary.

Here is what they said then:

Here’s the info on the 335. We sold this guitar back in 2003. The owner recently bought a Loar mandolin from us and has consigned a few things back so his pockets don’t fell so empty. In 2003 we replaced the buttons on the tuners, set and dress the frets, glue crack in back & touch up, and glue loose binding and touch up, repair strap button area & touch-up
Here’s what I see when I look at it today:
There are areas of touch up on the back, around the neck joint and two binding areas.
There was a crack in the laminated back that was touched up. There is touch up on the bottom couple of inches of the neck and around the neck heel area. There had been another strap button or a strap lock there at some point (I’m guessing).
The checking was accentuated by polish getting caught in the old checking. Most likely the overspray or touch up in the neck heel area made the old original checking disappear and then the checking was brought back by adding the freeze spray and/or cutting them in by hand with a blade. Then the guitar was polished with a compound that most likely ended up adding the larger white checks that we see now.
On the front by the pick guard there must have been a little loose binding where there is an area of touch up then the freeze spray was used to bring the old checks back. There is a small area of touch in the waist area binding. There is overspray on the back of the neck too.
The work was done by Phil Jones and is of the highest quality. Phil work for Gibson for many years before coming to work for us he now has his own shop.

Nothing done to it since except some string changes. Hasn't left the studio since the box was opened. The only weird thing about this guitar is some dude named Berkley thought it was a good idea to buy this and put his name tag on headstock. Whatever. Nothing else done outside of Gruhn work.  Solid fret condition as well. A35739

It is simply in dream condition, smells and plays warm blues. And yes, case sniffing is ok.  OHSC included as well - handle is taped.

A great website for all things 335. Unless you really have a hard-on for baseball neck, this plays like a beauty.

Yes will ship non US but contact me first. Shipping is going to handled carefully..and likely will be expensive
