Wild Customs Mustang 350H “CARS, GUITARS, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN”

AUTOMOTIVE by Wild Customs is a line of high end instruments paying homage to iconic car designs. We’ve always been car enthusiasts at WILD CUSTOMS. A lot of our instruments draw inspiration from classic cars, muscle cars, racing cars, hyper cars, concept cars… Needless to mention the role of the Kustom Kulture in supporting and fostering our creativity. Color, shapes, lines, materials, customizations are inexhaustible sources of inspiration for the team and it appears obvious to launch a brand new line of instruments… A brand new line of instruments that we’ve naturally called “AUTOMOTIVE by Wild Customs”

In 1966 in order to help Shelby sales, Ford, the major shareholder of Hertz, persuaded the rental car giant to purchase 1,000 fastbacks. After their rental-car lives were finished, all the the GT 350 were returned to Ford, refurbished, and sold to the public as “GT350H” models. Most Hertz cars were black with gold LeMans stripes and rocker panel stripes. The first 85 Hertz cars were available with four-speed manual transmissions and Hertz advertised them as “Rent-a-Racer” cars.

MADE IN WILD

Our guitars are 100% made in France. We believe in the true artisanal values and all our instruments are handcrafted the old fashion way in our workshop.

Our only goal is to deliver premium quality instruments and everything is designed, crafted, painted, wired, set, tuned in France.

24-3/4″ SCALE

The Gibson 24-3/4″ scale is one of the most common guitar scale length. Being shorter than the Fender 25-1/2″ scale, the Gibson 24-3/4″ scale has a lower tension/easier to play feel, and a warmer tone.

24-3/4″ = 629mm

SET-IN NECK

A set neck transfers the resonance between neck and body more freely and immediately than does a bolt-on neck. The result is usually heard as a little more warmth and fullness in the set-neck guitar. This thicker, fatter sound is often sort out by heavy blues and rock’n’roll afficionados.

WEIGHT

Weight is for reference only. Because every one of our instruments is handmade, the weight may change depending the piece of wood we select for your guitar.
