Rare Coveted Forssell Technologies MADC-2a Analog to Digital Converter ADC A to D

Selling what is essentially a brand new Forssell MADC-2a stereo analog to digital converter; one of the most highly desired and praised ADC converters amongst mastering engineers (just Google it!). Sadly, last year Fred (Forssell) announced he would no longer be producing/selling new units but would, however, continue to service existing customers. I was lucky and fortunate enough to acquire one of the last brand new units.

So, if you had ever wanted to be able to purchase your own brand new Forssell ADC, this is 100% the closest you will ever get to being able to do that. Being truthful, this left the box, was mounted in the rack and was used less than a dozen times; for all intents and purposes, it is new. It was purchased during the pandemic and the majority of my work now has become remotely based and/or centered around an ITB workflow. I did not see the change in work coming when I began the 2 year process to update my studio, conversion, console etc. Now that I had completed it, things changed for me and I haven't been utilizing it. A converter of this caliber which is becoming more rare and coveted by the day deserves to be making it onto records, not sitting in a rack.

I have it listed for what it cost me + shipping/insurance costs, not even adding more for reverb fees or the fact that you can't even get one any more. It's the best sounding ADC I've ever sent signal into; I preferred it over a HEDD Quantum (sent it back in favor of Solaris + Forssell). You will not be disappointed!
