This is an Epiphone 335 that I have made substantial upgrades to. A Gibson quality guitar for half the price. I have recorded and played shows with this guitar. All upgrades are American parts. The aquamarine color has been discontinued. Pickups have been changed to Schuyler Dean gold foil pickups, with 250k pots and 0.47 caps. Gold foil pickups sound amazing with slide guitar, and the semi-hollow body gives the tone an incredible amount of resonance. I of course had to add a Bigsby. This is a great sounding, high quality unique guitar. The closest comparison I could come up with is maybe a Harmony Comet. I am selling because I found a really cool looking gold Epiphone 335 and I pretty much did the same thing to it.
Upgrades are:
-Grover locking tuners 106 series $80
-Schuyler Dean gold foil pickups $200
-Bigsby B7 w/Vibramate $300
-Faber tone lock bridge plus $160 -(Epiphone bridges move way too much for a Bigsby, the Faber is very stable)
-All electronics upgraded to American quality, so I guess add cost of labor for that
