This is an excellent guitar that saw a lot of play years ago, but has mostly been sitting idle since the mid-2010s. The problems first. There is some fret wear, mainly on the second fret. I’m not a luthier, but it doesn’t look too serious. It is still playable with some buzz, and I think a recrown would be enough to have the frets back to like new. Another issue is the output jack, which has always been loose. I had it repaired by the Music Center in Gastonia, NC about 10 years ago, but it still isn’t as snug as I’d like it to be. There is also some extra space between the top pickguard and the body, since I used to stick picks there when I wasn’t playing. The silver centerpiece for the volume knob has come off. Finally, there are no strings on it, and so the faux Bigsby bridge flops around, and the handle itself moves independent of the bridge. If this is a problem (I am truly not an expert) it can definitely be fixed with glue. Other than that, the guitar is in excellent shape. The finish, etc. is as good as you can expect for a nearly 15 year old Chinese made guitar. The pickups are nothing special (I think they are the same used in the Artcore of that era), but they sound fine. The fretboard is in good shape. Same for all the other important parts. This was a great second guitar for me, and it doesn’t fit into my current needs and plans. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate send me a message.
