I am offering it at a discount due to the cosmetic issues I discuss in the video after I play the scale and pictured above. I payed $435 for this instrument new from Von Huene Workshop in Late summer of 2021. It is stained maple and I believe has a beautiful tone. Hope you agree.

This Moeck 4301 Rottenburgh alto is made from European stained maple - this is a hard, fine grained, porous and resilient wood of medium density. (Specific density approx. 0.63) This produces a soft fundamental tone ideally suited for blended ensemble playing and solo performance. The wood is impregnated, meaning there is no need for further oiling.

This Rottenburgh recorder comes with a hard case, cleaning rod and cloth, cork grease, fingering chart and maintenance instructions.” I NEVER store my instruments in the cases after playing. I always place them on a stand to air dry. This instrument’s mouthpiece has been washed and sanitized with Sterispray which is sold by West Music for hospital grade sanitation of Woodwind instruments and air dried.
