The Blackstar Unity 30 is a compact, clean-shaven bass amp weighing under 25 lbs. It provides 30 watts, useful for jam spaces and small venues. The control panel is functional without being confusing- the EQ has controllable midrange, and there are discreet switches for compression, overdrive, and chorus. The rear of the Unity 30 offers an XLR output, for connecting to a PA while using the amp for a personal monitor.
All in all, a straight forward bass amp from one of the leading brands of amplifiers.
