The Fender Jazz Bass model was first produced in 1960 and it has remained one of the most popular bass models in the world. The Jazz Bass that we have here at Bella Romeo is a custom shop model, and it is an homage to the Jazz Basses that were made during the mid 70's, which had some differences compared to basses that were made earlier. It features a 2-piece ash body construction and a heavy relic top, which has a balanced tonal character and the relic is very tasteful and gives it an awesome vibe. It features a 20-fret flat sawn maple fretboard and neck, which brings bright tones and fast attacks to the bass. For electronics, it comes with a two hand-wound custom shop single coil pickups and individual volume controls for the two pickups. The pickups provide a wide range of tones and are capable in handling different playing styles such as fingerstyle and slapping.
This bass is used and it is in mint condition. The whole body has a relic finish, and they are no nicks and scratches that are out of place. There are no nicks and scratches on the neck and fretboard. The frets are virtually new. The headstock also a relic finish, and they are no nicks and scratches that are not supposed to be there. The electronics are working normally, the chrome finish remains intact, and the truss rod functions in both directions. This bass comes with a certificate of authenticity, floor traveller, inspection papers, original deluxe hardshell case and original strap.
