This guitar started it's life as a D-18E, which was an early attempt by Martin to create an electric / acoustic by installing a DeArmond pickup in both the neck and bridge positions, and 3 control knobs and a pickup selector switch installed in the top. Since it's creation, this D-18E has been converted to a non-pickup version, which involved re-topping the guitar, and filling in the output jack hole. This D-18E also has a cleat-repaired back crack, two repaired back braces, overspray, a new pickguard, and a period correct bridge installed. Comes with rough hard case.
