Overview:
The Torino bass echoes the designs of some of the most collectable instruments of the 60s, inspired with a modern and distinctly original twist. Like the guitar version, the Torino bass comes in a semi hollow-body construction with F-holes. A tune-o-matic bridge carries thefour strings over to the neat Italia 'action angle' trapeze tail, with the Wilkinson mini bass humbucker and ABR humbucker providing the tonal heart of this beautiful bass.

Italia was one of the most innovative and creative guitar brand to surface in the last 20 years, the models from these original series were very well built in South Korea by the Mirr factory that also makes the Rivolta guitars and Reverend guitars among other prestigious brands.

Well known Italia players are Earl Slick, Todd Rundgren, Elliot Easton from the "Cars", Ricky Philips of "Styx", Jeff Cook of "Alabama", Kenny Olsen from "Kid Rock", Whitey Kirst (Iggy Pop), Joey Mazzola, Chris Rea, Rick Vito and Peter Green to name just a few.

About this bass:

This Bass is NEW OLD STOCK, never used, this is inventory from a Italia Dealership that closed. The frets were polished and the fingerboard hidrated. The electronics have been checked and are fully functional. It has original setup that came from factory and although, We believe the setup is good, but setup preferences vary from player to player. As with any bass, if you're not satisfied with the current setup, it will be your responsibility to have it adjusted to your specifications. It comes the original Italia Gigbag and will be shipped in the original cardboard package .
