About This Listing

Epiphone Custom Shop Ripper Bass.  Rare, Excellent. $1,250.00  Free shipping

This rare, Custom Shop fantastic all maple bass (made in Korea 1999 or so best I can tell) is in virtually excellent condition with only a little use and comes with the original like new hard-shell case.  Additionally, because I’m so picky, it has two new Seymour Duncan ¼ # pickups, a blender pot with a center detent controlling the fine adjustment between these two fine pickups, not just a switch, along with each volume and tone pots and a master volume, and,,, AND the huge frets have been shaved down and polished to .032”at the first fret, .034 at the 5th fret, and .034” at the 12th fret, fret ends are virtually non-existent.  See pictures.  Scale is 34”, fingerboard radius is 14”, new Hip Shot Bridge.  Weight is 9.5 pounds.  Strap connectors mounted and enclosed are Strap Locks by Dunlop.  This bass virtually plays itself with a small, fast neck as your fingers glide up and down like butter.  The body is a beautiful, quilted maple.  Strung with D’addario Half Round extra light .40s.  Ahh, so smooth and quiet.  All I ever use.  Used, as is, no returns, free shipping.  Email me, Gary
