I am a  violinist, and this is one of my studio electric violins and it is excellent. I have no experience with it in live settings, only studio. But my understanding is it is excellent live and a very popular instrument for performers as well.

With this violin, to record, I'd use line level along with a condenser mic and blend the two channels for the best most rich and realistic violin sounds.

The round neck is very clean and comfortable to play. The finish helps make it more durable without sacrificing tone. The electronics feature a top-quality linear pot, custom knob and a standard 1/4" Switchcraft jack on the back housed in a custom aluminum housing.
