About This Listing

One-Off 2004 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Jason Davis Custom Koa Telecaster with an Ash Body in between a Book-matched Koa Top & Back, and a Koa Neck

Condition / Wear: Wear wise there is a small scuff at the top of the headstock (pictured above). Also, there is what appears to be a ding on the side of the headstock, but is fairly smooth to the touch & not through the finish (pictured above). Other than that there is only light play wear consisting of very light swirling / scratches. Full specs compiled to the best of my knowledge below.

Mods / Repairs: This had a re-fret done with the same Vintage style fret-wire, and a new bone nut installed by the Fender Custom Care Center here in Georgia.

Other Notes: This comes with a replacement C.O.A. signed by C.W. Fleming, as Jason Davis had left the Custom Shop around the time this and its Stratocaster twin were finished, & the new C.O.A. is dated 6-01-2020. The original C.O.A. had been misplaced, and the replacement process was done through the Fender Custom Care Center here in Georgia. Fender's records has a build date of May 2004 for this, so most likely one of the last guitars built by Jason Davis before exiting the Custom Shop, and was informed by the previous owner that the set was done for NAMM.

Am unsure about selling the matching Strat, but if that would interest anyone then feel free to reach out.

What's Included: Comes with the Original G&G Hardshell Case, C.O.A., and all Case Candy that is pictured above.

Case Condition: Case is in Very Good Condition with some marks on the outside tolex and end caps. On the inside it is clean with the padding a bit depressed where the lower bout would rest while inside. Photos on request.

Questions / More Photos: Be sure to let me know any possible questions you might have, or if you need anymore photos of anything whatsoever, prior to purchasing. Have photos of every angle, but am limited to 25 here.

Shipping: Free Fully Insured Shipping to the Contiguous U.S. only. Will ship as quickly as possible (same day or the next business day). Please review the Shipping & Return Policies.
